For this portion of my final we were asked to use both Instagram and Twitter to upload photos and check in on campus. First I went to the Louis Armstrong Theatre where my friend Aisel snapped a cute pic. Then I went to the 2020 desk to take my selfie. (I just want to say, it was embarrassingly hard to get both me and the sign in my selfie).
As for checking in, checking in at locations can be both good and bad. While it can help you share your location with friends in the area it alerts strangers of your location as well. It is important to remember that public profiles will be sharing your location with everyone on that site. If you really like to check in places, I recommend waiting until you leave and posting it as a look where I was rather than a look where I am moment. I generally do not check places because I simply feel safer without it, no one needs to know where I am all the time anyway.
