I have spent the last week working on my Final Cut video for my on campus organization "Packing Hope" This project proved to be more difficult than I thought! When I started I completed a simple storyboard (pardon my stick figures) to ensure I got all of my shots in.
Once my storyboard was complete I sat down my cast and completed all of my shots. Shooting my scenes took approximately 30 minutes to film and resulted in a lot of shots ruined by laughter which taught me not to film your friends. Once my filming was complete I sat down to piece together my project. I had several issues with my project in the beginning the biggest of which was working with transitions. Because I had never done a film project before I did not realize I would need extra time at the beginning and ends of my clips to add the transitions resulting in a couple choppy pieces towards the beginning. Overall I am fairly satisfied with my final project which can be viewed below.
